Sammen med mikrofonen får du et stativ som du enten kan ha stående på et bord eller feste på mikrofonstativ. Nytt på Sonic Port VX er at du i tillegg til å kunne koble den til iOS-enheter, også kan koble den til PC eller Mac via USB. Bruker du den med en iPad eller iPhone kan du også bruke USB porten til å lade opp din iOS-enhet.
På en siden er det bryter for valg mellom gitarinngang, stereo-mikrofon og mono-mikrofon. Når du bruker Mono-mikrofon valget er i tillegg gitarinngangen aktivert, noe som gjør denne innstillingen glimrende for singer-songwriter-artister. Det er også justerbar mic-gain på siden som lar deg optimalisere inngangsnivået på mikrofonene. Direct Monitor bryteren på siden lar deg høre signalet direkte om det er latency.
