50-serien kommer i to ulike kroppsformer; som klassisk dreadnought og som Takamines egen NEX-body som ligner litt på en mini-jumbo. Begge variantene fins med og uten pickup-system. Pickup-systemet er Takamines TP-4DT.

Other great features include a synthetic bone nut and split bridge saddle, rosewood headcap, abalone rosette and dot inlays, gold die-cast tuners and a beautiful gloss finish
